This work is an oil painting on a very large canvas. Homage to the famous painting “Venus’s Birth” by Italian Renaissance painter Sandro Botticelli. I enjoyed painting the iconic Venus figure in my drawing technique, using pastel stains. The orange and yellow colored hair conveys a sense of movement and dynamism while the gaze glows and glows. The painting certainly creates a feeling of connection and interest in the character and contributes a sense of solemnity to any space.
